Photos taken in sun light TunicReichsfinanzverwaltung - Customs border guard Service tunic for a customs secretaryproperty. Elegant field gray cloth, complete with all effects. Cuff title removed during denazification period collar tabs embroidered with metal thread, sew-in shoulder boards. Loops for 1 badge and for 1 large ribbon clasp on the chest. Inside with green silk lining in the neck with a tailor's label "Eduard Sachs founded 1837 Berlin-Hamburg-Dresden", a slit on the side to carry the dagger. Arm length 62 cm, chest medium size length 68 cm. small moth hole on the front at the level of the belt, overall very good condition HatNice quality, private purchase, post-1936 pattern, police green doeskin wool construction visor cap with a dark green badge cloth centerband with dark green wool truppenfarben, (Branch of service color), to the crown edge and both the top and bottom edges of the centerband. The Cap Eagle and Wreath has been removed during denazification period a high relief, three piece, national tri-color cockade. Still remains The cap has a bright, twisted silver/aluminum and green chin cord. Which is correct for the rank The chin cord is secured to the cap by two, small, silver washed, pebbled, magnetic sheet metal buttons. The cap has a black lacquered vulcanfibre visor which has a subtly raised lip near the forward edge. The interior of the cap is fully lined with orangish/tan rayon. The crown lining has a clear celluloid sweat diamond which is fully intact. Nice maker mark. Size marked 56 ½. The Ersatz paper sweatband is torn in several places and is stuck/gued in place on the forehead section. The cap is in overall very good condition and displays well.
