Vintage Mr. John Classic 1940's Style Black Velvet Beret Hat

Vintage Mr. John Classic black velvet 1940's style Beret hat.  It has a pleated fan design (ribbon) on the front of hat (see picture).  Has original label inside that reads Mr. John Classic, New York, Paris.  Also has it's orignIal Union Label, made in USA.  The hat is in very  good/excellent pre-owned condition.  Would make a great addition to that vintage hat collection.
