AUTHENTIC VINTAGE CHINESE EMPEROR HAT w/ BRAIDED PONY TAIL Original

Discovered at an Estate with an over-all Chinese theme created from purchases during their extensive Asian travels, sat this beautiful Emperor hat at the top of a display cabinet!  Keeping in mind that I am not an expert in this field, it certainly was worth a RESCUE!  Hard body of the hat displays six sections of embroidered scenes with a solid black border and gold symbol, front. Little braided "beanie" sits atop and, of course, a 24" braided pony tail is attached at the back. Height measures 5 1/2" and interior circumference measures roughly 23", equivalent to a size large.  Store tag remains inside, written in Chinese.   A fun find either for a Theatre production or simply for display!!
